I am trying to add an RSS Feed of latest posts from an IPB forum and I want to put the feed on a HTML coded website. I do not know how to make an RSS Feed that will link to those topics and I do not know how to display the feed onto the web site.

A lookup on a search engine will give you a lot of results. Here are some resources that might help you.

Check with the forum manufacturer they often have an add-on to get RSS feeds for forum posts.

Another alternative is to use a scraper to create the feeds. You will need to check and make sure the forum owner will allow syndication of their content.

As far as displaying the RSS feed within your HTML website. The easiest/best way to do this is to use RSS2HTML a free PHP script. This means that you can retain the complete control of the HTML layout (using templates) and make it match your existing design. Additionally using PHP rather than JavaScript will mean that search engine spiders can "spider" the contents of the RSS feeds.

Additional details and a free rss2html download is available at: http://www.feedforall.com/more-php.htm

Additional information and other options for displaying RSS feeds can be found at: http://www.rss-specifications.com/displaying-rss-feeds.htm

Goodluck!
